About The Artist:Gerarda Wilhelmina ten Hoet was a Dutch painter, etcher, and draughtswoman known for her serene landscapes. She studied at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam and was influenced by artists like August Alleb and Thophile de Bock. Though she occasionally painted figures, her main focus was naturemeadows, woodlands, and pastures. Her works are held in Dutch collections, including the Rijksmuseum.
