About The Artist:Anna Katarina Boberg was a Swedish artist known for her paintings, ceramics, and textiles. Born into an artistic family, she was mostly self-taught. Bobergs most famous works depict the landscapes of northern Norway, particularly the Lofoten Islands, which she visited frequently. Married to architect Ferdinand Boberg, she spent much time in Paris and Sweden, where she documented Swedish architecture. Boberg passed away in 1935, leaving behind a legacy of both fine and applied arts.
