This futuristic floor lamp was created by the British design team of Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, jointly named Designers of the Future at Design Basel/Miami in 2006. The duo characterizes their approach to every design challenge: We seek to re-evaluate the archetype, to challenge precedents. Their design features a tent-like head that swivels 90 to 180 to direct light for reading on the couch or in the bedroom. The multi-led diffuser is specially designed to avoid the multishadow effect of multiple LEDs. Made in Italy by Flos, a manufacturer which reproduces many of the iconic lighting designs in the MoMA collection. Designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby for FLOS. 78″ cord. UL certified.
