Simply crack the top of the ceramic planter with a spoon to reveal the soil inside. Sprinkle water on top regularly and the Eggling will go from sprout to a fully grown basil, cactus or strawberry plant over the course of several months. A conversation starter in the kitchen or wherever you place it, the Eggling Planter Kit can create a tiny green space for you on any windowsill, desk or small shelf or table in your home. The plant will take five months to fully grow. Once it outgrows the egg, simple place the Eggling in a planter pot or garden.
