- Add product through skimmer while filter and pump are operating
- Prevents the sun from dissipating the chlorine that is added to the pool for purposes of disinfecting the water
- In freshly filled pools – use at the rate of 5 lbs. per 10,000 gallons
- In pools that have been previously stabilized but are diluted by fresh water added to pool – use 1- lbs. per 7.500 gallons of water
