The gravity-defying Chromatica Wall Lamp makes a statement with its extra-long arm that seems to float over your couch, dining table, desk or wherever you need light. The adjustable steel arm is balanced by a cast-iron counterweight and the lamp head rotates 360, allowing you to direct light in many directions. Italian designer Paola Rizzato, who conceived the design in 1973, chose red, blue and yellow to highlight each of the lamps key elements: shade, arm and counterweight. Rizzatos work is represented in MoMAs collection.
