Swedish Mid-Century Nightstand

We have a pair of walnut and beech nightstands, designed by William Hinn for the Urban Furniture Companys Swedish Guild Collection in the 1950s, and likely made in around 1960. The pieces have a gently curved front, and float in an elegant exoskeleton. The two drawers have a beech wood interior, which provides a stylish contrast to the walnut exterior. As with the dresser from the same collection, the wood grain on the drawers is perfectly aligned.

As to be expected with a piece of furniture of this age, it has had some refinishing, and there are some signs of wear and tear.
