They have all been hand made from teak, so each one is slightly different. As well as a quite ornate carving on the head and footboard, this one features mirror inlays.
The canopy would have been originally used for hanging a mosquito net. We think it looks very pretty with some muslin draped over it, but any plain or patterned fabric could look good. Wider than a normal single bed, they will not work with a standard single mattress, but we can help you order one that fits.
